Holidays and unattended periods

When you leave the property unattended for long periods, such as during holidays:

1. notify us
2. empty all bins and remove recycling such as boxes and bottles
3. clean and tidy the property
4. clean and tidy the garden
5. switch off and unplug electrical appliances
6. ensure water taps are off
7. switch off water at the stop cock
8. do not leave valuables in view and, ideally, remove them from the property
9. close all curtains
10. fasten all internal and external door and window locks
11. take reasonable steps to avoid burst pipes during cold weather.

We will inspect the property during holidays. Please contact us with a list of maintenance issues to be fixed while you are away.
